Handyman questions, answered in plain English.
Everything most people want to know before sending a handyman enquiry in Perth.
What kind of jobs can I send?
Repairs, mounting, assembly, adjustments, minor patching, general maintenance, outdoor tasks and other appropriate non-licensed odd jobs. If you are unsure, describe the problem rather than trying to name the trade.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. Small jobs are part of the point. If you have several, combine them into one list so the visit can be planned more usefully.
How much will the job cost?
It depends on the scope, time, materials, access and travel. Send the job details first so Ricey can work out what information is needed before discussing the next step or estimate.
Do you cover my suburb?
Ricey takes enquiries across Perth Metro. Send your suburb or postcode with the job and travel and availability can be confirmed before booking.
What information should I include?
Tell Ricey what is wrong, what you want done, the suburb, how urgent it is and any useful access or material details. Photos can be exchanged during follow-up if they help clarify the work.
Should I supply materials?
That depends on the job. List anything you already have. The required materials or fittings can be clarified before the visit where practical.
Can I send a whole list of jobs?
Yes. A multi-job list is encouraged when the tasks are appropriate handyman work. It can make the visit more useful and easier to plan.
Can Ricey do electrical, plumbing or gas work?
Regulated electrical, gas and plumbing work requires the appropriate licensed trade. Ricey does not present licensed-trade work as ordinary handyman work.
Can I book for a rental or investment property?
Yes, subject to the job type, access arrangements and whether the work is appropriate handyman work. Use the property-type field in the callback form.
Can property managers or small businesses enquire?
Yes. Send the scope, location, contact details and access information. Appropriate non-licensed maintenance, assembly and mounting jobs can be assessed.
Do I need to be at the property?
Not always, but access and authority need to be clear before the job. Mention any access arrangements in the enquiry or during follow-up.
Is the callback form a confirmed booking?
No. It is an enquiry. Ricey reviews the information and contacts you to confirm fit, scope, timing and the next step.
